GROUP TRAVEL

Together, You Build More Than Projects

When a group arrives in Cusco with a shared purpose, something powerful happens. You accomplish things that would take individual volunteers months. You create memories that bind your group forever. And you return home changed, not just as individuals, but as a team that did something real together.

We specialize in organizing volunteer group trips for universities, churches, medical organizations, corporate teams, high schools, and friend groups who want their travel to matter. Our most popular group programs focus on construction projects and medical campaigns, where the collective impact is immediate and visible.

CONSTRUCTION GROUPS

Build Something That Lasts

There’s nothing quite like standing in front of a finished classroom, covered in dust and paint, knowing that children will learn in this space for decades because your group made it happen.

Our construction program brings groups to rural communities outside Cusco where infrastructure needs are real and urgent. These aren’t invented projects designed to keep volunteers busy. Community leaders identify what they need, whether it’s a new classroom, a community kitchen, a health post, or playground equipment, and we work together to make it happen.

What your group will do:

The work is hands-on and physical. Mixing cement. Laying bricks. Painting walls. Installing windows. Carrying materials. You don’t need construction experience; our local team includes skilled builders who guide every step. What you need is willingness to work hard and get dirty.

But construction is only part of the experience. Your group will also spend time with the community. Sharing meals. Playing with children. Learning about life in rural Peru. These connections transform what could be “just” a building project into something deeper.

Ideal for:

University alternative break trips, church mission groups, corporate social responsibility programs, high school service trips, scout groups, rotary clubs, and any organized group wanting tangible impact.

Group size:

We accommodate groups from 8 to 30 participants. Larger groups can be arranged with advance planning.

Duration:

Most construction groups stay one to two weeks. Shorter trips focus on specific tasks like painting or finishing work. Longer trips can complete entire structures from foundation to roof.

What’s included:

Airport transfers, accommodation (volunteer house or hotel depending on group preference), all meals, project materials and tools, experienced local construction supervisors, cultural activities, orientation and safety briefing, 24/7 local support, and certificates of participation for all group members.

MEDICAL CAMPAIGNS

Healthcare Where It’s Needed Most

In the remote communities surrounding Cusco, medical care is a luxury. Families walk hours to reach the nearest clinic. Children go years without seeing a dentist. Chronic conditions go undiagnosed because there’s simply no one available to check.

Our medical campaign program brings healthcare directly to these communities. Your group sets up temporary clinics in schools, community centers, or open plazas, and for one or several days, families receive care they couldn’t otherwise access.

What your group will do:

The scope depends on your group’s composition and credentials. Groups with licensed medical professionals can provide direct patient care: general health screenings, basic treatments, dental cleanings and extractions, vision tests and glasses distribution, prenatal checkups, and health education.

Groups with medical students work alongside local healthcare providers, assisting with patient intake, vital signs, health education, and logistics while gaining invaluable clinical exposure.

Non-medical volunteers play essential roles too: organizing patient flow, entertaining children in waiting areas, distributing vitamins and supplies, translating, and documenting the campaign.

The communities we serve:

We partner with rural communities in the Sacred Valley, the highlands above Cusco, and remote areas near Cai Cay. These partnerships are long-term. Communities know us and trust us. They help spread the word before your group arrives so families know to come. This isn’t medical tourism; it’s coordinated community health support.

Ideal for:

Medical school brigades, nursing programs, dental school outreach groups, pre-med clubs, public health students, hospital volunteer teams, and healthcare professional associations seeking international service opportunities.

Group size:

Medical campaigns work best with 10 to 25 participants, balancing enough hands to serve many patients with manageable logistics.

Duration:

Campaign trips typically last one to two weeks. This includes preparation days, multiple campaign days in different communities, and time for cultural experiences and reflection.

What’s included:

Airport transfers, accommodation, all meals, transportation to campaign sites, local medical staff coordination, community liaison and preparation, medical supplies and equipment (groups can also bring donations), translators if needed, cultural activities, and certificates documenting service hours.

COMBINE CONSTRUCTION AND MEDICAL

Maximum Impact Trips

Some groups want to do it all. We can design custom itineraries that combine construction work and medical campaigns in the same trip.

Imagine spending your first week building a health post in a rural community, then spending your second week staffing a medical campaign in that same building. The community sees your group not just as visitors who came and left, but as people who built something and then brought healthcare to fill it.

These combined trips require more planning and work best for groups staying two weeks or longer. But the impact and the experience are extraordinary.

PLANNING YOUR GROUP TRIP

We Handle the Details

Organizing an international volunteer trip is complicated. Flights, accommodations, meals, transportation, project logistics, safety planning, emergency protocols: the list overwhelms most group leaders.

That’s where we come in. You tell us your group size, dates, interests, and budget. We design a complete program and handle every detail. You focus on preparing your group members. We focus on making sure everything runs smoothly when you arrive.

The planning process:

First, we have a conversation. Video call, phone, or email, whatever works for you. We learn about your group, your goals, and any specific requirements.

Then we send a detailed proposal with day-by-day itinerary, pricing, accommodation options, and project descriptions. You review, ask questions, request changes.

Once you confirm, we start coordinating. Community partners prepare for your arrival. Accommodations are reserved. Transportation is arranged. Materials are purchased.

Before your trip, we provide preparation guides for group members: what to pack, what to expect, cultural tips, health recommendations.

When you land in Cusco, we’re there. From airport pickup to farewell dinner, our team accompanies your group every step.

Start planning:

The best group trips are planned six months to one year in advance, especially for construction projects requiring material preparation. But we’ve also pulled together successful trips with just two months notice when groups are flexible.

Contact us with your initial ideas, and let’s start building something together.
